The Prince of Wales's Business & Sustainability Programme

Due to ongoing restrictions around social distancing and international travel, we have made the decision to migrate the 2020 Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability Programmes online.

The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership has extensive experience of leading executive level forums virtually, creating effectives spaces for critical thinking, peer engagement and the exploration of new ideas. Over the next few weeks our dedicated design team will be working to reframe BSP as a powerful virtual programme with space for rich discussion, analytical exercises and interactive debate.

In order to deliver an effective programme remotely, and recognising the practical limitations of screen-based engagement, the forums will be less intense (approximately 20 hours in total) but extended across 5 days. For further details on dates and pricing, please click through to the relevant course page (links below).

At the moment we still intend to run our 2021 programmes in person, subject to guidance from national and local authorities.

An international programme for senior executives in leadership roles in its 26th year

Our series of Business & Sustainability Programme seminars, held around the world, have been delivered by the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, and have become a global benchmark for sustainability leadership education. With over 3,200 alumni from more than 1,500 organisations, we celebrate 26 years of the programme this year.

Each residential seminar takes place across four days with virtual seminars taking place across five days, each format encourages participation through a combination of lectures, case study presentations, group discussions and individual reflections, and gives delegates concrete ideas to take back to the workplace.

Why apply?

The programme is designed to give senior executives the knowledge and techniques to address key sustainability challenges in a practical way.

Participants are encouraged to review their current business models and set a vision for what success looks like in the future, leaving the course with the inspiration, understanding and confidence to define and respond to pressing social, economic and environmental priorities.
