About
Philippe Joubert is Founder and CEO of Earth on Board, dedicated to informing and helping companies to put sustainability at the centre of their strategy and of its Governance, starting with the board. Since its creation, Earth on Board held more than 400 sessions in 30 different countries in front of 10000 senior executives and board members
Philippe is a member of the International Advisory Board of the World Energy Council (WEC) and former Energy and Climate director of WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable development. A former member of the Advisory Board of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), he is now a Fellow of this Institute where he lectures regularly on Executive, Post Graduate and Board programmes. He is a former Trustee of Client Earth, and is now a director of Client Earth Belgium and Client Earth Japan. He is a Member of the Advisory Board of A4S (Accounting for Sustainability).
Philippe is Advisor to several CEOs of leading global companies in the area of Sustainability and International Development and sits on several boards of directors of companies in Singapore, Sao Paulo, Paris, New York and African continent.
Philippe was previously President of Alstom Power and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Alstom Group (a Group of 94,000 employees in 100 countries, with €20bn in sales for 2011/2012).
