Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership

CISL 25th anniversary

The environment faced by leaders today is complex and rapidly changing, and our staff must adapt rapidly to evolving circumstances by designing and delivering new and impactful products and services.

To deliver our mission of developing leadership and solutions for a sustainable economy, we have organised ourselves into a matrix structure to encourage dynamism, collaboration and accountability.

Led by our Director and CEO, Clare Shine, we are organised into teams across this matrix, which support our clients and Network to lead transformational change. These teams span our three Centres for business, policy and finance; Education and Advisory Services; Acceleration and incubation; and practitioner orientated research.

Our professional staff in Operations, Corporate Relations and Communications provide strategic and operational support services to enable the organisation to deliver impact and excellence.

As well as in Cambridge our staff work in the EU (Brussels) and South Africa (Cape Town)

Our work draws upon an expert group of Fellows and Senior Associates, comprised of business leaders, academics and other influential thinkers who have direct experience of working to address sustainability challenges, and our Network Ambassadors convene and energise our Network locally, across the globe.
