Hemma Varma is a Strategic Consultant at the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance focusing on developing solutions for the hospitality industry that address human rights and climate action issues for the sector. Hemma also tutors on the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) Business Sustainability Management course.

John is involved with CISL in numerous ways.  Completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business (Cohort 17) in 2015 and two Leadership Labs, he recently tutored on the online Business Sustainability Management course for several years, currently taking a break to focus on scaling his business, which he co-founded with another CISL alumni, Simon Kelly (Masters).  They are members of CISL’s Canopy Programme and were the first University spin out to receive investment from Cambridge Enterprise outside of Deep or Med Tech. 

Her recognition of the importance of cross sector collaboration led Caroline to venture into the family business and sustainability space after nearly two decades in MNCs. At Family Business Network International (FBN Int), she is a passionate advocate of conscious capitalism; building trust between sectors, encouraging cross-pollination of ideas and catalyzing for-profit and non-profit partnerships.

Mats is an engineer and sustainability professional with experience from the development and deployment of adaptation and mitigation climate technologies as well as carbon market validation and verification.

Namrata Rana is the author of BALANCE – Responsible business for the digital age. She is Director-Strategy and Brand, at Futurescape.

Anthony Cheung specializes in Green & Sustainable Investment, ESG Investing and Climate Governance in Asia. Anthony is the Managing Director, Head of ESG at Polymer Capital Management and he has served various asset management roles in London, Singapore and Hong Kong including Gartmore, Pictet and BNP Paribas. Anthony is a Visiting Fellow of Sustainability and Capital Markets at University of Hamburg. He was the first in Asia who attained the Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®) designation and was awarded Regional ESG Leader Award by Insights and Mandate (I&M) in 2019.

Christopher Sveen is the CSO at UBQ Materials, a company which has developed an innovative robust technology that can process unsorted municipal solid waste (domestic waste) into a thermoplastic-like composite material.

Dana is the Director of Communications at Global Fashion Agenda. Dana has dedicated her career to fashion and sustainability.

Katherine is a multidisciplinary Sustainability Professional with over 20 years’ experience in the Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Real Estate and Construction Industries.
