Katherine is a multidisciplinary Sustainability Professional with over 20 years’ experience in the Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Real Estate and Construction Industries.
Katherine is currently the Director of Strategic Sourcing, Facilities and Real Estate at Tangerine Bank where she is working to establish a strategic sustainability mandate in order to enable new business processes and policies. Tangerine, formerly ING in Canada, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of one of Canada’s largest fiveFI’s, The Bank of Nova Scotia. Previously, Katherine was President of Taproot Inc. an FSC-certified business importing and distributing leading sustainable building products for the construction of LEED (Leadership Energy and Environmental Design) projects across Canada. Katherine holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Architecture (B.ARCH) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Environmental studies (B.E.S) from the University of Waterloo. She completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Value Chains in 2016 and has plans to complete the Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership in the near future.
