In her more than 20-year career with Marriott, Hemma has worked on property in Austria and the UK, as well as Marriott's global reservations and customer care centre in operations, reservations and training positions before joining the Social Impact Team in 2004.


Biography:

Leading Marriott's Sustainability & Social Impact efforts in Europe, she works with a cross-functional team to identify, develop and implement processes and guidelines addressing sustainability issues and advance against Marriott’s global sustainability & social impact strategy: Serve 360 – Doing Good In Every Direction. She focuses on driving employee engagement through Marriott’s continent-wide community engagement initiative World of Opportunity Europe. As part of that initiative, Hemma developed and implemented Marriott’s 'You Eat, We Give' fundraising campaign to raise money for Marriott's charitable partners in Europe.
