Dr Victoria  Hurth

Victoria Hurth is Associate Professor of Marketing and Sustainable Business at Plymouth University.


Additionally, she is the convenor of a global standard being developed in ‘Guidance for Governance of Organisations’ (ISO37000). She has published research papers and thought pieces in journals including: Nature Climate Change, The New Scientist, Carbon Management and Sustainable Development. Victoria has over 15 years’ experience consulting in marketing and sustainability, having previously worked for Accenture with companies including Marks and Spencer, Cancer Research, J Sainsbury. She is a Chartered Manager, Chartered marketer, Fellow of the RSA, a founder member of the South West Mutual Community Bank and a board member of the Plymouth City Council’s Inclusive Growth Group. She has been engaged by organisations such as The British Council, British Standards Institute and LEAD International, and was a founder Director of the first social enterprise pub in Plymouth.
