Michael Sheren

In his role as Senior Advisor within the Bank of England, Michael Sheren provided counsel and independent challenge to senior BoE Management on critical risk, governance and operational matters within the financial markets. Michael has been one of the Banks leaders in the area of climate risk in the financial system.  As part of his climate work, he Co-Chaired the G20 Sustainable Finance Study Group with China, is a UK delegate to the NGFS and a contributor to the digital green bond work within the Innovation Hub of the Bank of International Settlements.

Dr Gary Kendall

Dr Gary Kendall has been working at the intersection of business strategy and systemic risk for well over a decade. He spent 8 years with Nedbank until early 2022, driving culture change and purpose fulfilment.  Prior to that, he was Deputy Director at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) in Cape Town for 3 years, helping business leaders in Southern Africa to understand the mounting system pressures that will reshape their operating context.

Judith is a fellow with CISL and an affiliated lecturer with the Department of Engineering.  For the majority of her career, Judith has worked on large infrastructure and engineering projects in developing countries with the aim of bringing sustainable improvements in living standards and reductions in poverty.

Malcolm Gray

Malcolm is CFO and a co-founder of Libryo. Prior to co-founding Libryo he spent 16 years working for Investec Asset Management in a number of senior roles, including as Portfolio Manager of various ESG funds and Global Head of ESG. Malcolm is also a husband and father, married to Colleen, with three wonderful boys: Daniel, James and Joshua. They live in Cape Town and share a passion for travel and family time. He and the boys are also snowboard enthusiasts! Malcolm enjoys running, cycling and yoga.

Ian supports CISL executive, graduate and online training programmes. Formerly he led Sustainability in Product Development with Jaguar Land Rover. At JLR Ian and his team supported the development of large-scale circular economy projects, the use of science to drive sustainable product development and business strategy culminating in the development of JLRs first electric vehicle.
