Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)

Nicole joined the Education team in March 2021 as a Project Co-ordinator to support the Leadership and Strategy Portfolios. Graduating in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford in 2019 as part of her undergraduate degree, she researched food security and sustainability with a specific focus on agriculture. Nicole has a broad range of experience working with and in the Education sector. This includes working as an Application Mentor for Crimson Education, where she provided support and coaching to students applying to UK Universities from overseas; organising educational activities programmes as an Activities Manager for Bucksmore Education; and teaching English as a foreign language in Hong Kong and China. Nicole has also worked at the Big Data Institute as a data analyst, where she worked on data collected from UK BioBank participants.

More recently, Nicole has been a Content Writer and Researcher for the UK Care Guide. She has also undertaken research projects on life expectancy and insurance medicine, publishing in The Actuary and Journal of Insurance Medicine. In her spare time, Nicole volunteers as a guest author for ClimaTalk.
