As the Chief Sustainability Officer at Adapteo Group, Lina is dedicated to advancing circularity while reducing resource and climate footprints, and driving growth and equity value in the process. Adapteo provides flexible, modular buildings across nine Northern European markets, operating on a space-as-a-service rental model that addresses crucial social infrastructure needs. At Adapteo, Lina and her team developed the Triple Materiality approach, a groundbreaking method designed to not only fulfill the CSRD-mandated Double Materiality Assessment, but also adding a business value perspective on top. This approach serves as a catalyst for both sustainability and enterprise value.
During her tenure at textile-as-a-service provider Elis, Lina engineered a visionary strategy combining the Sustainable Development Goals into the company’s core ethos, positioning Elis as a vanguard in sustainable development. Lina's leadership, combined with her strategic acumen, earned accolades in prestigious awards recognizing the best sustainability strategy and sustainability leadership in Sweden.
At Tetra Pak, Lina undertook a multifaceted role encompassing sustainability communications, reporting, and spearheading diverse initiatives such as enhancing recycling and consumer awareness campaigns.
Rooted in her academic journey and Ph.D. from Lund University's Ecology department, Lina's passion for systems thinking and strategic foresight has been further nurtured and developed in the corporate realm. Her multifaceted career has also combined roles as an environmental consultant, contributing to the SiN-list development, contaminated site remediation, environmental permitting, audits, and regulatory compliance. As a senior sustainability consultant, she developed strategies and held trainings and workshops based on the Global Goals.
Beyond her corporate endeavors, Lina extends her expertise through board and advisory roles and has co-founded a pioneering circular economy think-tank in Sweden.
