Dan has served as the Research Lead for Investment Stewardship in the Future of Boards programme, a two-year collaboration between the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and the global law firm DLA Piper. He began his career in the Group Strategy Department of the European Investment Bank and has since worked with research institutions, commercial firms, and UN organisations on corporate governance, organisational restructuring, and public investment programmes.
Previously, he was a visiting scholar at Yale University and an Impact Lab fellow at Oxford Saïd Business School. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD at the University of Oxford, where he applies computational social science methods to study the political economy of institutional investment and development banking. Dan holds master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge and Sciences Po Paris, as well as a bachelor’s degree from the University of Groningen.
