Dr. Lina K. Wiles is a senior sustainability and strategy leader with board experience and a career spanning listed companies, private‑equity‑owned businesses, and industrial groups. She combines scientific depth, commercial pragmatism, and systems‑level thinking to support leadership decisions shaped by climate transition, regulation, and long‑term capital allocation.
As Chief Sustainability Officer at Adapteo Group, she leads circularity, decarbonisation, and social impact, embedding sustainability into corporate strategy, governance, and execution. Under her leadership, Adapteo has secured a €2bn all‑green refinancing, achieved EcoVadis Platinum, implemented Science Based Targets (SBT), and co‑developed a sector‑first Circularity Index. She also introduced Adapteo’s Triple Materiality approach, adding a business‑value lens to CSRD and strengthening how materiality informs prioritisation, strategy, and value creation.
Alongside her executive role, Lina serves on the board of Clemondo AB. She has held senior roles at Elis, Tetra Pak, OKQ8, and AFRY, and has worked in environmental consulting across permitting, audits, and remediation. Lina holds a PhD in Ecology from Lund University. She serves with the CISL faculty, supervising postgraduate programmes, and is frequently invited to speak on circularity and sustainability strategy implementation. She also contributes through advisory roles and has co‑founded a circular economy think tank in Sweden.
