Currently, she is involved in a Public-Private Partnership project led by Wageningen Economic Research and the Foundation for Sustainable Development. In this role, she leverages her expertise in translating scientific research into economic and financial impacts within the biodiversity context, drawing on her experience in quantifying the impacts of climate change through Ortec Finance’s proprietary climate scenario modeling framework.
Before joining Ortec Finance, Bronwyn led ClimateWise at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, a platform uniting over 40 insurance firms to manage climate change and climate risk practically. She has also held various academic research and government roles, and spent seven years at KPMG’s risk consulting practice in Hong Kong and Australia. There, she led multiple internal audit and enterprise risk management projects for financial services firms.
Bronwyn holds a Bachelor of Science (Agriculture), Bachelor of Commerce and a PhD in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Western Australia and is an ongoing Fellow as the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
