Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)

25 October 2017 – CISL publishes a report on fintech for sustainability focusing on how the potential of fintech can be applied to sustainability challenges in the real economy. Specifically, it highlights the need for industry-level collaboration between financial institutions, corporates and smaller-sized innovators and provides recommendations on how this can be achieved.

Fintech smallThe recommendations in the report stem from the work the Banking Environment Initiative’s Fintech Taskforce carried out in the past six months. The 11 recommendations and three use cases in the report shed light on how Fintech for Sustainability Catalysts can unleash this potential. The Fintech Taskforce was founded at a Chief Executive meeting hosted by HRH The Prince of Wales.
