5 March 2018 – CISL’s Master’s in Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment (IDBE) delivers high-quality interdisciplinary part-time education for built environment professionals from around the world. For over 20 years, the IDBE has been instrumental in developing the skills that help individual professionals learn how to work better together. As the new IDBE course director, Kayla Friedman shares her passion for the built environment, her vision for achieving sustainable and resilient design and how she aims to contribute to the legacy of the course.

25 May 2017 – Alasdair Marks, Corporate Adviser at Business in the Community (BITC) discusses how organisations need to innovate in order to be sustainable. Alasdair recently attended a Sustainable Leadership Lab, focusing on sustainable innovation. These two-day immersion sessions are designed to co-create workable, practical solutions to key current and future constraints to ‘business as usual’ that increase business resilience, promote social development and/or access new markets.

18 May 2017 – Chris Bellamy, former Product Creation Engineer at Jaguar Landrover was selected by the company to take part in CISL’s PCSVC, which led him to champion sustainability and learn how to embed sustainability principles in the luxury car market.

12 April 2017 – Adrian Campbell, founder and director of sustainable building design company changebuilding, discusses how the interdisciplinary working techniques and sustainability concepts he was taught to consider on the IDBE became integral to his working practice.
