Pat is currently Chair of the Independent Advisory Group (IAG) at Travalyst, a global independent not-for-profit dedicated to making sustainability information more mainstream, so that it is easier for people to make informed and responsible travel choices. As Chair, Pat leads a global group of some of the world’s leading academics and sustainability experts who provide independent, critical advice to the Travalyst Board and Secretariat. She also sits as Adviser to the Sanofi Shared Care Collective, guiding the leading consumer healthcare group on sustainability leadership as well as for Ignite Impact, a development fund for the Philippines.
Before TPB, Pat pioneered the Chief Sustainability Role for Ayala Land, the Philippines’ most esteemed land developer and then for Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts as the first Global Head of CSR & Sustainability which became the first Asian hotel chain to be recognised in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and ban the service of shark’s fin.
Pat is regular keynote speaker and panel moderator on topics including purpose and leadership, responsible business, women’s empowerment and inclusion. She is World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and remains a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She holds an MA in Globalisation & Governance, certificates in Transformational Leadership from the University of Oxford and Global Leadership & Public Policy for the 21st Century from the Harvard Kennedy School.
