The programmes are designed by the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), which has over 30 years' experience of designing and delivering leadership programmes on sustainability. The CISL team is responsible for all elements of the programme design, management, administration and oversight of the academic process.

Participants are supported by a team of dedicated tutors on both the Organisational and Value chains streams who support the learning process throughout the programme, providing subject knowledge as well as guidance and support to participants. The tutors are drawn from industry, academia and civil society. They all have direct experience of working to implement sustainability strategies within business, and all value chains tutors have experience of working with industry on supply chain strategy.

The programmes also features a number of expert contributors from both academia and industry.
