Before joining CISL, Harry worked for 10 years on nature, agriculture and land use policy for a number of organisations. This included as environmental policy lead for the Country Land and Business Association (a trade association for farmers and landowners), where he worked closely with the UK government on the development of post-Brexit agricultural and environmental policy. He has also worked on agricultural policy for the RSPB, spent 3 years working in the UK Parliament convening a cross-party group on agroecology, and managed an annual conference on sustainable agriculture.
Harry has an MA in Environmental Policy from the University of Essex and an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh.
