Charlie has worked on digital and content marketing strategies across Sydney, New York, London and Singapore for the financial services, tourism and retail industries. She has consulted for marketing agencies and led the rollout of global strategies and transformation projects in client-side positions. She’s partnered with awarded independents like iQuanti Inc as well as multinationals like Dentsu, Omnicom, Publicis and WPP via the likes of BCW, Carat, Clemenger, DDB, DigitasLBi, iProspect, Kantar, Mindshare, Ogilvy and OMD. She’s worked directly with Google and LinkedIn on global advertising strategies and Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg and TripAdvisor on content partnerships.
Charlie left her position as Global Manager of Digital Marketing, Capabilities & Content at American Express to co-found and manage an e-commerce and content marketing company that was built to address the challenge of greenwashing and opportunity of galvanising consumer demand for sustainable change. It assessed product sustainability claims and brought together transparent, innovative product solutions, consumer education and community activations in a single destination, reaching 2.1 million people.
Charlie is interested in the intersection of business and society where marketing, messaging and labelling fuel consumption and economic growth. She is passionate about the potential of digital capabilities to raise awareness and demand for sustainability, and of start-ups to drive innovation and positive disruption.
