Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)

Annisa Sekaringtias is Programme Manager for the Banking Environment Initiative at CISL, where she leads research and thought leadership initiatives to advance sustainable finance. Prior to joining CISL, she worked at a climate think tank as a senior researcher, focusing on clean energy finance and overcoming barriers to energy transition, and as an independent consultant working on environmental economics and climate research projects. 
 
Annisa's diverse experience spans industry, consultancy, academia, and non-profits. She has managed corporate sustainability programs, worked on international climate and energy projects, and supported environmental economics and law teachings at University College London (UCL). Her published works cover topics such as climate alignment assessments for multilateral development banks, promoting inclusive energy transitions, expanding clean energy access, and integrating clean energy solutions into national development plans. 
 
She holds an MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from UCL and a BSc in Ocean Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology.
