Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)

Anil Padhra is a specialist in aviation and the environment and is currently the Climate and Environment Manager at British Airways. He is a Senior Associate at CISL working on the Aviation Impact Accelerator project with an aim to create a net-zero aviation industry. He has a background in engineering and atmospheric physics and has published widely on topics including aircraft and airport emissions and the climate risks to aviation.

Biography

He is an expert member at the UN World Meteorological Organisation assessing the impacts of climate change and variability on aviation. Anil holds several visiting Professor roles at universities in Europe and the Middle East. His current research interests include sustainable air transport technology and infrastructure, non-CO2 climate impacts and climate risks, mitigation and adaptation.
