Visiting research


Research at CISL strengthens our impact on business our impact on business, government and financial institutions by informing their transition to a sustainable economy, defined as a net zero, circular, restorative economy with an inclusive society exhibiting high levels of social and environmental justice. It informs the scope of our research, and we welcome interest from visiting researchers to contribute to our core research themes:

Visiting researchers

On occasion, we will accept visiting researchers whose research falls into alignment with the above priorities. In exceptional cases, we may consider projects which lie outside of this framework.

Visiting researchers will be expected to cover their costs and living expenses such as accommodation. In addition, visiting researchers will need to contribute to the administrative and research costs incurred by CISL to host researchers.

Work opportunities

On occasion, we offer opportunities to work with CISL researchers. Typically, these appointments are offered between four weeks and nine months and open to undergraduate or postgraduate students from HE institutions. In exceptional cases, we may consider expressions of interest from those who have recently completed their studies and are currently outside education.

Through The Prince of Wales Global Sustainability Fellowship Programme, we are building a cohort of world-class researchers targeting breakthrough solutions to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
