CISL Director Dame Polly Courtice appointed as Board Advisor to BSI

12 June 2020 – BSI, the business improvement company, today announced the appointment of CISL Director Dame Polly Courtice as Board Advisor with effect from 1 June 2020.

John Hirst, Chairman at BSI comments:

“We’re very pleased to welcome Polly. Her experience of working with global businesses as ambassador for best practice in sustainability will be of immense value to BSI. Having formally committed to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Polly’s appointment will enable us to support our clients, to help protect our planet’s resources and achieve sustainable resilience and growth over the coming years.”

Dame Polly Courtice, Director, the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) comments:

“I’m delighted to join BSI, an organisation that continues to play a key role in pioneering standards in helping global organisations improve sustainability and performance.
