Since completing his MSc in Soil Science in 2006, Thomas has been involved in various aspects of the environmental sector. He has spent time working for a multinational environmental consultancy in the area of land contamination and has also worked as a researcher for the London based charity Waste Watch (now part of Keep Britain Tidy). Prior to joining CISL Thomas worked for Eunomia Research & Consulting where he focused on, among other things, UK and European waste and resource policy and promoting the sustainable use of resources within a circular economy.
