He was named as one of the top 50 people influencing global finance in 2013 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Prior to forming Osmosis in 2009, Gerrit spent more than 20 years in the Far East and Russia building and managing emerging market equity businesses for global investment banks including Troika Dialog, JP Morgan, Lehman Brothers and Kleinwort Benson. He holds a Bachelor’s degree (LSU) in Finance and a Master’s degree (Glasgow) in International Finance.
