He is a Fellow of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and has been a Supervisor on the MSt program since 2014. In this time, he has supervised a great diversity of sustainability leadership projects relevant to the finance, manufacturing, consulting, government and NGO sectors. These projects have addressed social and environmental sustainability challenges including stakeholder engagement, strategy development, measuring and reporting on sustainability indicators and performance, and integrating environmental and social outcomes into existing operations. As a teacher, Angus is especially interested in how to elicit sustainability learning and behavioural change in others. He places great emphasis on academic writing, rigorous research design and effective communication for sustainability leadership. Angus is an active researcher with a particular interest in evaluating the outcomes of sustainability-oriented policies and practices so as to determine the contribution to sustainable development and seek ways to enhance future performance by government, industry and citizen groups alike. He has published over 120 international refereed works as well as several books across a spectrum of environmental and sustainability assessment topics. This includes responsible tourism, sustainable resource use and mining legacy, the role of businesses and education for sustainability.
