18 December 2019 – The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) is delighted to announce that Dr Nina Seega, Research Director for CISL’s Centre for Sustainable Finance, has been appointed as academic visitor at the Bank of England.

Nina SeegaNina will support Bank of England’s work on leading progress in the field of sustainable finance.

Commenting on her appointment, Nina said:

“Since the seminal Mark Carney’s speech in 2015, the Bank of England has been at the forefront of the sustainable finance agenda. To support their work further, in addition to my position as a research director in sustainable finance at CISL, I am delighted to become an academic visitor at the Bank of England.”

The Centre for Sustainable Finance at CISL bridges the worlds of business, finance and policymaking in order to enable the transition to a sustainable economy, facilitating stronger mutual understanding between financial institutions, their clients in the real economy and the institutions which govern them. The Centre has a particular reputation for translating high-quality research into practical solutions to advance both policy and market practices, with a current workstreams focusing on risk and resilience, positive impact and innovation.
