Leontino Balbo Junior

Leontino has developed and implemented the Green Cane Project, focusing on the organic production of sugarcane, and responsible for the pioneering production of organic sugar, which is exported to more than 60 countries all around the world under the NATIVE’ brand. The project was awarded ‘Ecological Sugar Mill’ and ‘Sustainable Sugar Mill’. Leontino graduated as an Agronomist Engineer in 1984 from the Julio de Mesquita Filho, São Paulo State University’s School of Agriculture.
