Katherine  Hirst, Senior Project Manager

Katherine joined CISL in 2019 predominantly focused on delivering the Unilever Young Entrepreneurs Awards. In addition Katherine works across the broader Advisory and Executive Education portfolios to deliver programmes to high-profile clients across a range of sectors.


Biography:

Prior to joining CISL in 2019 Katherine worked across the non-profit sector for a range of national and international organisations.  Katherine has significant experience working with SMEs globally, identifying needs and designing consultancy interventions to address their requirements; including access to finance and markets, training and development, comms and marketing and operational procedures. As part of this work Katherine lived in Uganda for 6 months, leading teams of consultants. Katherine has worked closely with the Chartered Management Institute to design, deliver and facilitate consultancy and leadership training to young people and businesses in the UK and in sub-Saharan Africa – aiming to strengthen the social enterprise ecosystem.

In addition Katherine has managed a wide variety of complex projects including events, product development and new work programmes - working with high profile clients and stakeholders including Lloyds Banking Group, The Telegraph, DFID, SCVO, British Council and Unilever.

Katherine holds a MSc in International Development from the University of Bristol and Philosophy degree from the University of Cambridge.
