Research, policy and responsible AI governance
The Minderoo Centre for Technology and Democracy (MCTD) is an independent, interdisciplinary team of researchers at the University of Cambridge working on the governance of AI and digital technologies. Based within CISL, MCTD produces rigorous, evidence-based research to inform policymaking, strengthen democratic institutions and help decision-makers navigate the opportunities and challenges created by rapid advances in AI.
By combining MCTD's expertise in technology governance with CISL's work on business transformation and leadership, we help organisations understand, anticipate and respond to the profound changes AI is bringing to economies, industries and institutions.
