Dr Maria Christina Georgiadou

Maria is currently teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate modules that specialise in building physics, building services engineering, low energy design and renewable technologies. Her current research focuses on Building Information Management and Modelling in UK construction and the potential for improved collaboration, visual representation and data management in construction projects.  Prior to that, she worked as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, Centre for Sustainable Development in the Department of Engineering.

Christina completed her PhD entitled “Future-Proofed Design of Low-Energy Housing Developments – Conceptual Framework and Case Studies from the UK and Sweden” at the Centre for Sustainable Development, Cambridge University Engineering Department in September 2013. She also holds an MPhil in Technology Policy from the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge (2009) and a MEng with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece (2006).
