The Centre for Sustainable Finance will achieve its goal of building a sustainable financial system through strong partnerships that bridge traditional academic and industry boundaries.

The Centre therefore works with clusters of research excellence across the University of Cambridge, building on a particularly strong relationship with the Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS), and far beyond.

In particular, CISL was a Founding Member on behalf of the University of Cambridge of the Global Research Alliance for Sustainable Finance and Investment (GRASFI), a network of global research universities working to promote rigorous and highly impactful academic research on sustainable finance and investment. The network’s membership of 20 Universities spans North America, Europe and Asia.

The Centre also works with financial institutions, research teams in central banks and regulatory authorities, policymakers and other industry groups from right around the world, in keeping with CISL’s existing approach.
