22 February 2024 – As we celebrate 30 years of CISL’s flagship executive education programme, the Business & Sustainability Programme (BSP), we are keen to share some updates to how the programme will be delivered in 2024.
This year, the BSP celebrates its 30th anniversary. The BSP was founded in 1994 by the former HRH Prince of Wales, now King Charles III. Over the past 30 years, we have worked with senior leaders to redefine and respond to their social, economic and environmental priorities by providing a unique space for ambitious action, thought leadership and cross-sectoral collaboration. As we recognise the ongoing need to deliver radical solutions, at pace and scale, we welcome new cohorts to extend the work done by the programme’s alumni.
Over the course of the year, we will be hosting a series of events for both BSP alumni and network members to celebrate the milestone and invite alumni of the programme to share their experience on social media using #BSP30.
Global reach
Over the past 30 years, CISL has been committed to galvanising action globally to deliver positive change for people, nature and climate. The BSP has been delivered across 5 continents with over 4,500 delegates joining us to consider and explore the transformative opportunities and challenges of our time.
In 2024 we will be delivering four regional programmes, including the relaunch of the residential BSP Africa, led by Susan Njoroge, following a brief move to virtual delivery during Covid:
Interim Chair
To continue our impact focus over the coming decade of action, we have invited CISL Fellow Munish Datta to act as Interim Chair for the programme, delivering the BSP in both the UK and Asia this year. Munish brings with him a wealth of sustainability experience and insight across sectors and geographies, positioning him well to lead the continued impact of our flagship programme. You can read more about Munish here or find him on LinkedIn.
