Giorgio is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Business Research, Cambridge Judge Business School, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at St Edmund’s College, University of Cambridge. 

Biography

Giorgio is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Business Research, Cambridge Judge Business School, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at St Edmund’s College, University of Cambridge. He is also a Supervisor on the Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Giorgio’s research examines the role of financial and non-financial firms in sustainable economic development, monetary policy transmission, and climate change mitigation and adaptation. He has been working on several projects, funded among others by Cambridge Ahead, the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, the Business Board, the Babraham Research Campus and the Greater Cambridge Partnership. Prior to joining the Centre, Giorgio worked as an analyst at Deloitte’s Global Financial Services Industry and completed his PhD in Financial Economics at Cranfield University. His PhD thesis was awarded the Director’s Prize for Best Doctoral Thesis of the Year. Giorgio regularly presents his research at leading international conferences and his work received several awards, including a Young Researcher Award by the European Association of Cooperative Banks.
