New occupants gathered outside #SustainableHub in Brussels

7 March 2024 - The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership's Brussels team is set to move into #SustainableHub. The centre has opened its doors for a range of impact-focused frontrunners from industry, associations, NGOs and think tanks.

#SustainableHub will be the Brussels home for CISL (and its European Corporate Leaders Group), Europe Jacques Delors, Tesla, SSAB | Hybrit, Strategic Perspectives (Meliore Foundation), the Good Lobby, E3G and #SustainablePublicAffairs and more to come. 

Providing a dedicated co working space for EU changemakers, the centre aims to foster a unique sustainability ecosystem, allowing is members to collaborate, share inspiration, knowledge, connections in the pursuit of raising the bar on EU climate policy.  

Ursula Woodburn, Director of CISL Europe and Corporate Leaders Group Europe, said: “We're delighted to join this unique sustainability hub which brings together Brussels corporate, academic and think tank communities and will help support and enrich our work to accelerate change for a sustainable future."  

As CISL’s Brussels team grows and its impact continues to expand, this brand-new hub will play a crucial role in propelling efforts forward to advocate for a green future and champion sustainable policies.  

The Brussels team attended the celebratory opening in front of #SustainableHub, Rue du Commerce 72, with speeches from Barbara Trachte, Minister of climate change and environment for the Brussels Region, MEP Canfin, Chair of the ENVI Committee, and Willem Vriesendorp, initiator of #SustainableHub.
