The Ibero-American Business Network for Green Growth (IABN) will launch its COP30 campaign during Climate Week 2025 in support of the global goal of tripling renewables by 2030 and calling on governments to create the conditions for an inclusive, prosperous and nature-positive energy transition, acknowledging Latin America’s unique role, challenges, and opportunities in this shift.
The reception will be an opportunity for the IABN, of which our Corporate Leaders Network is secretariat, to present its business statement to like-minded businesses, governments and partners as a springboard to galvanise further support behind it towards COP30.
The event will foster networking and relationship-building and offer an opportunity to engage with business groups, businesses and organisations at the forefront of climate action in Latin America and beyond. Participants will also hear perspectives on the role of the IABN and how business and government can work together to accelerate a sustainable energy transition.
Expected participants include senior representatives from IABN member organisations and their companies, the COP30 High-Level Champion, senior government representatives, as well as senior representatives from leading companies and partner organisations.
