This by invitation only roundtable, hosted in collaboration with S&P Global Ratings, will bring together a small group of invited experts from credit rating agencies, banks, insurers, investors, policymakers, development banks, and industry.
Together, we will unpack common misperceptions around risk in emerging markets and developing economies (EMDEs), explore innovative financing structures, and identify opportunities to scale blended finance across sectors and geographies.
Beyond creating space for public-private collaboration, the aims of this discussion are to:
- outline actionable opportunities for scale across sectors and regions
- build a set of private sector asks to inform the UNFCCC Baku-to-Belem roadmap and the Fourth Financing for Development Conference (FFD4) ahead of COP30.
