Dr Rachael Luck

Rachael's research at the Open University studies design as it is practiced, through ethnographic and video-based studies of interaction in everyday settings where collaborative design work takes place and studies the routine use of designed environments. It has been funded by awards from ERC, EPSRC, AHRC and the RIBA and is undertaken in close collaboration with industry. Rachael is a member of the Editorial Board for the journal Design Studies.
