Climate Week NYC, 20 - 27 September 2026

Climate Week NYC 2026 will focus on the energy, impact and action that we drive together. As economic and climate uncertainty continues to shape our world, collaboration is more important than ever. By learning from one another and working across sectors, we can identify opportunities, unlock solutions and accelerate progress towards a low-carbon and more secure future.

From 20-27 September 2026, Climate Week NYC will once again bring together leaders from business, government, finance, academia and civil society, connecting the people and ideas shaping how we live, work and prosper. A CISL delegation will join these conversations, contributing insights, building partnerships and exploring the practical actions needed to create lasting change.

21 September: Corporate Leadership and the Race to Deliver - Invitation‑only reception hosted by Exponential Roadmap Initiative, Futerra, Oxford Net Zero and Race to Deliver. Viola Meyerweissflog will attend.

21 September: Women Leading on Climate Reception exploring the leadership needed to turn climate ambition into action in today’s complex geopolitical and economic landscape. Ursula Woodburn attending. 

22 September: Accelerating Innovation: Aligning Policy, Investment and Industry to Scale Sustainable Solutions. Panel hosted by L’Oréal focusing on how alignment between policy, finance, industry can help climate solutions scale. James Cole is speaking.

22 September: Electric Advantage: From Vision to Implementation Roundtable will convene business, policy and NGO leaders for a working session on moving the electrification agenda from ambition to delivery, addressing the practical barriers and opportunities needed to scale progress by 2030. 22 September: The Electric Reception - Climate Week NYC. We Mean Business Coalition, SSE, the Utilities for Net Zero Alliance and partners will host an evening reception bringing together 100 leading figures across business, policy and civil society. Viola Meyerweissflog attending.

22 September: COP31 Global Business Forum – New York Dialogue. Bloomberg Green New York kicks off with the COP31 Business Forum New York Dialogue for the launch of the COP31 Action Agenda to the global business community. Co-hosted with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, the program will bring together the COP31 Presidency and private sector leaders to discuss climate priorities, opportunities for collaboration and strategies for implementation ahead of COP31 in Antalya. 23 September - Nature - The Root of Resilience and Long Term Value - Kate Wylie, Chief Sustainability Officer at Chanel, hosts an invite-only discussion featuring Ara Quinza, Global Head of Climate & Nature at Chanel, and Crystal Davis, Global Director for Food, Land and Water at the World Resources Institute to explore pathways that restore nature, strengthen resilience and create long‑term value.
