Canopy member Greg Cochrane on BBC News previewing a new, low-carbon music festival
2 September 2024 – Canopy member Greg Cochrane appeared on the BBC News Channel to discuss the crossover between music and climate action.
Cochrane, journalist and co-founder of New Allotment Collection, was previewing the range of groundbreaking decarbonisation measures being deployed by iconic British band Massive Attack at their Act 1.5 festival in Bristol.
More than 30,000 music fans experienced innovations around travel, food, energy and waste at the festival at the end of August 2024, with the intention of proving that there are alternative ways to put on large-scale events.
