7 October 2025 - The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) is proud to announce the appointment of Renata de Andrade as its first Network Ambassador in Brazil. This reflects CISL’s commitment to fostering global collaboration and advancing sustainability leadership in key regions.
Brazil and the wider Latin American region are critical for the transition to a sustainable economy. Accounting for more than 40% of global biodiversity and a leader in renewable energy, the region’s environmental policies and innovations have far-reaching implications for climate and nature resilience. As CISL’s Network Ambassador, Renata will lead efforts to strengthen professional networks across Brazil, sharing the latest insights from CISL and creating opportunities for collective action.
Renata brings to the role over 25 years of experience in climate change, risk management, and sustainable development. Her work spans biofuels policy, nature-based solutions, and multi-sector climate strategies. She has collaborated with international organisations, government bodies, and the private sector to shape net zero pathways and resilience frameworks.
Currently serving as a Head Tutor for CISL’s online course ‘Business and Climate Change’, Renata mentors professionals worldwide in developing practical solutions for decarbonisation. Her appointment marks a significant step in CISL’s mission to empower leaders and accelerate sustainable transformation.
