Valuing Natural Capital, Wednesday 26 June, 14:30-15:30 (GMT+ 8)

While global GDP has soared in recent decades, human activity has led to a 40% reduction in natural capital from 1992 to 2014. Valuing economic models that prioritise critical assets of clean air, water, nutritious food and human well-being is imperative.

How can this disconnect be transformed from the current ecological crisis to a sustainable future?

Discussions from this session will look to elevate and amplify the need to move beyond current economic indicators to mainstream natural capital in decision making.

This session will be livestreamed.
