During its April 2025 Annual General Meeting, L’Oréal unveiled 'its new Sustainability Innovation Accelerator, in partnership with CISL, a cornerstone of a new chapter in its L’Oréal for the Future journey.
Building on this unveiling, to spotlight the accelerator and position L’Oréal as a convenor of action on sustainable innovation, L’Oréal will invite design and innovation experts for an intimate roundtable event at Goals House during London Climate Action Week (LCAW) in June 2025.
The roundtable will explore how we can turn cutting-edge technology and promising pilots into global solutions through financing, partnerships, or piloting programs. The event will look at innovation in the sustainability space, with a specific focus on priority challenges the accelerator is looking to tackle:
- Low-carbon, climate-smart technologies
- Water resilience solutions
- Nature-based solutions
- Alternative ingredients and materials
- Eliminating fossil plastic use and plastic waste
- Circularity and resource management
- Sustainable and inclusive business models
James Cole, Chief Innovation Officer, CISL, will moderate the roundtable.
