About the Hack Day

Urbanisation, land use change, and the impacts of climate change are placing increasing pressure on our water systems. Downstream water pollution is being driven by agriculture, sewage, highways, and urban development. And something needs to be done about it.

This hack day will:
•    Share insights into the pressures facing our current water systems
•    Explore specific use cases and data challenges
•    Highlight emerging technologies and innovations
•    Convene multi-stakeholder sprints to co-create practical solutions

We are particularly seeking participants who can contribute expertise, ideas, or solutions in areas such as:
•    Technology and data to diagnose and pinpoint water challenges
•    Water-positive housing developments that minimise water use and pollution
•    Innovation in agriculture to reduce upstream water pollution
•    Policy, finance, and investment strategies to enable scaling of solutions

Who should register?

We welcome applications from startups, scale-ups, entrepreneurs, academics, researchers, policy experts, industry leaders, and impact investors. To ensure an impactful and collaborative event, we will curate the participant group to reflect a diversity of skills and perspectives.
