Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)

Pat is the founder of The Purpose Business (TPB) who guide leaders to evolve business as a force for good, based out of Hong Kong and Singapore . She has more than two decades of sustainability leadership experience and is passionate about helping leaders and businesses in Asia activate purpose and grow responsibly.

 

Biography

Pat is a Senior Associate at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and sits on the Global Steering Committee of the Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability Programme. She serves as faculty and tutor across the CISL Executive Education programmes. She sits on the Sanofi Shared Care Collective, an advosry board for the leading consumer healthcare group.

Before TPB, Pat pioneered the Chief Sustainability Role for Ayala Land, the Philippines’ most esteemed land developer and then for Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts  as the first Global Head of CSR & Sustainability which became the first Asian hotel chain to be recognised in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index .

Pat is regular keynote speaker and panel moderator on topics including purpose and leadership, responsible business, women’s empowerment and inclusion. She is World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and remains a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She is on the board of directors of Enrich, a Hong Kong-based charity dedicated to the financial literacy of migrant domestic workers.

Pat holds an MA in Globalisation & Governance, certificates in Transformational Leadership from the University of Oxford and Global Leadership & Public Policy for the 21st Century from the Harvard Kennedy School.
