This year, CISL is running The Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability Programme (BSP) for Asia for Asia based senior executives in Singapore. The programme supports senior executives to translate complex sustainability trends into strategic business decisions, supporting individual leadership, business strategy and systemic change.
Recognising the importance of China to contribute to sustainability solutions both in the region and globally, we are offering funding for a limited number of places to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the BSP programme but face financial barriers to entry. This is facilitated by The Sino-UK Centre for Sustainability Innovation to support its strategic objectives.
In addition to the BSP eligibility criteria listed below, sponsorship applications will be considered for individuals who are able to make a positive impact within the Chinese economy by driving innovation at a systemic level, and who can foster collaboration between China and the world, particularly the UK.
General Eligibility Criteria:
- Professional Experience: Applicants should have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, demonstrating progressive leadership responsibilities.
- English Proficiency: Proficiency in English is essential as the program will be conducted in English. Applicants may be required to provide evidence of English language proficiency through standardized tests like TOEFL or IELTS.
- Letter of reference: Applicants should be required to provide letters of recommendation from professional referees who can attest to their leadership capabilities and potential to contribute to sustainability initiatives.
- Commitment and Availability: Applicants should be committed to attending the entire duration of the program and actively engaging in all aspects of the seminar. More information on the programme terms and conditions and brochure can be found here.
Applicants will be invited to demonstrate these qualities in their sponsorship application.
