Leading organisations are creating resilient supply chains to reduce cost, improve reputation and enhance competitive advantage.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Value Chains (PCSVC) has been designed to equip senior and mid-career professionals with the skills to develop sustainable value chains that are fit for the future. Accredited by the University of Cambridge, the Master’s-level programme will encompass, and go beyond themes such as 'sustainable supply chains', 'green procurement', and 'responsible sourcing'. PCSVC builds on the success of Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business (PCSB), which for the past 19 years has been widely regarded as the leading sustainability programme.
Delivering business impact
The strength of the programme lies in access to leading research and extensive University of Cambridge resources, with an emphasis on collaborative learning, peer networking, and real-life application to business contexts. Students are supported by a team of industry experts to apply their learning to mainstream business practice.
Following attendance on the course, Jaguar Land Rover created a closed-loop aluminium value chain. Read the circular economy case study here.
Focusing on teamwork and building stakeholder relations, the programme welcomes all functions and geographies involved in the value chain including supply chain management, procurement, sales and marketing, product development and sustainability specialists. Business suppliers, NGO partners, community leaders, and policy-makers will also benefit from attending and add valuable insights. Graduates will leave the programme with the personal motivation and confidence to drive change, influence colleagues and to work collaboratively.
