Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)

Professor Doroteya Vladimirova is the Founder and Head of the Net Positive Lab at the University of Cambridge Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), and Visiting Professor of Sustainable Business at the Cranfield University School of Management. Doroteya’s work focuses on how business can extend its aspirations beyond sustainability to become a net positive contributor of social, environmental and economic value to the world. Her current research involves re-modelling the future of fashion, design for net positive products, and making the shift towards net positive organisations.

Biography

Doroteya holds a PhD in Product Service Systems from Cranfield University. Before academia, her career spanned over a decade across the fields of international affairs and trade with national and foreign governments, and in manufacturing with General Motors. As a CISL Fellow, Doroteya is an academic supervisor on the MSt in Sustainability Leadership and PG Diploma in Sustainable Business, and a contributor to the CISL Accelerator for start-ups and small businesses.
