We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Administrator to join the Education Team within the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). As Team Administrator, you will provide complete administrative support to the Education team in order to support the effective and efficient management of the team. You will work across our Graduate Programmes, Digital Learning, Leadership and Strategy programmes to help the team to deliver impact efficiently and effectively.

CISL is a globally influential institute within the University of Cambridge working on a mission to develop leadership and solutions towards a sustainable economy. Within CISL, the Education Team deliver a range of work including executive seminars, graduate and customized programmes, briefings for Boards, online courses, and consultancy work.

Based in CISL's Cambridge office, you will work closely with the Education Team Manager to support a dynamic team across a range of projects. The role will provide a critical foundation for the rest of the team, ensuring work runs smoothly. We are looking for someone who is keen to work in a fast-paced environment and help the team to continue to grow and expand our impact.

As well as being committed to the values that underpin CISL's work, applicants will be expected to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:

  • Strong administrative experience, ideally in a client centric environment
  • Experience in organising events and / or booking travel and accommodation
  • Competence in the use of standard software packages, for example, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience working in a fast paced team
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High standard of attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptable approach to work and problem solving
  • Ability to adapt to change and work across multiple projects at the same time
  • Educated to at least A Level standard or equivalent standard/NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of practical experience

The following attributes will also be desirable:

  • Knowledge of University of Cambridge administrative processes and finance system
  • A demonstrable interest in Sustainability and commitment to the values that underpin CISL's work
