We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Administrator to join the Education Team within the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). As Team Administrator, you will provide complete administrative support to the Education team in order to support the effective and efficient management of the team. You will work across our Postgraduate Programmes, Digital Learning, Leadership and Strategy Portfolios to help the team to deliver impact efficiently and effectively.

Achieving sustainability is the greatest challenge of our time and outstanding leadership will be crucial if we are going to meet this challenge successfully. CISL draws on the intellectual breadth of the University and an international network of leading thinkers and practitioners to help individuals and organisations understand and act on pressing issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, resource depletion and inequality.

The Education Team is a fast-growing team within the institute, expanding our reach to enable more participants to join our programmes online and in person, to catalyse change within their organisations and at a wider system level. We are looking for someone excited to work with influential organisations and support us to continue growing our work.

Based in CISL's Cambridge office, you will work closely with the Education Team Manager to support a dynamic team across a range of projects and provide high quality administrative support to the Education Director and Portfolio Directors. The role will provide a critical foundation for the rest of the team, ensuring work runs smoothly.

If you can demonstrate the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:

  • Strong administrative experience, ideally in a client centric environment
  • Experience in organising events and / or booking travel and accommodation.
  • Competence in the use of standard software packages, for example, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High standard of attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptable approach to work and problem solving
  • Ability to adapt to change and work across multiple projects at the same time
  • Educated to at least A Level standard or equivalent standard/NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of practical experience
