The role

CISL is looking to recruit a motivated, skilled developer with specific skills in the Microsoft SharePoint/Teams and the Power Platform. As part of a digital transformation programme, CISL have invested in a comprehensive Microsoft technology stack. We are now looking for someone to bring the technical know-how and personal drive to help deliver real business change by enabling business simplification and process automation.

With proven experience in MS SharePoint, Teams and across the Power Platform, this role provides an opportunity to make a real difference to our business operations across the entire development lifecycle. This is a hands-on developer role and business facing - where you will be expected to work closely with business colleagues to capture their requirements and see projects through to implementation. The Microsoft environment continually evolves, and this role will also help our IT/Digital teams to keep up to date so as to be able to exploit latest technical features and approaches.

Key skills and experience:

  • MS SharePoint and Teams developer skills with appropriate Microsoft/industry certifications.
  • Experience working with Power Apps platform (Forms, BI, etc.) to deliver business change.
  • Experience working directly with user teams to capture and document requirements and to help implement new solutions.
  • Ideally exposure to MS Dynamics and Dataverse.
  • Experience of working in both Agile and Waterfall development models.
  • Motivated self-starter able to take responsibility for small projects and delivering outcomes.
